April 1st 2018, the applications for the year 2017-2018 under the Regular Skilled Worker Program have been submitted but in April 3rd, the Quebec Ministry annunced that following a technical problem with Mon projet Québec, the received applications for a Certificat de sélection du Québec are not receivable and the Ministère must return them and reimburse payment.
The Ministère regrets the situation and apologizes for any inconveniences it may have caused.
The total number of 6531 applications for CSQ were submitted and among this number, 584 applicants have paid the fee which should be returned by the Ministry. ,
Although Quebec Ministry of Immigration, Diversity et Inclusion, announced in March 29, 2018 that the intake period, during which 5000 applications will be received, will be in effect from April 1, 2018 to August 15, 2018, emphasing that the exact intake date will be announced in fututre, the Ministry surprisingly opened the submission in first hours of April 1, 2018.
Since all submitted applications are NOT recievable, therefore; the intake rules for the 2017-2018 Regular Skilled Worker Program have been maintained and extended until August 15, 2018. Consequently, under this program, the Ministère can receive up to a maximum of 5,000 applications for a Certificat de sélection du Québec by August 15, 2018.
The Ministère will announce in advance, on its Internet site, the opening of all application intake periods.
